Tuesday is the new Friday! In an effort to bring locals Downtown, Councilman Diego Bernal and Downtown Operations Department bring you Downtown Tuesday.
Downtown Tuesday offers parking at City-operated parking garages, parking lots and parking meters every Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. beginning Tuesday, Feb. 14. Please note: the free parking is only available at City-operated facilities. Free parking is not available at the Alamodome.

It’s easy to park for free downtown on Tuesday! Simply park in a city-operated facility or meter after 5:00 pm on a Tuesday. No coupon, identification, or other collateral is needed in order to obtain free parking. After parking, enjoy your downtown! Special discounts will be offered on Tuesday evenings at participating businesses. Look for the “Downtown Tuesday” logo in the storefront.

Special Tuesday Deals
In addition to free parking, the City partnered with the Downtown Alliance and the Paseo del Rio Association to engage businesses in the effort to offer special discounts. Every Tuesday, simply ask for the “Downtown Tuesday special” at participating downtown businesses to get discounts and special rates.
